Welcome to the Introduction to Crisis Management course. In this course, we will look at:
– the Nature of Crises;
– Planning for Crises;
– How to manage a crisis; and
– Training for a crisis.
This short course can be completed as a stand-alone course, or as a basic grounding for some of our more detailed courses, such as decision-making.
The course is useful for anyone who is a member of a Crisis or Incident Management Team, and for those who are preparing crisis management procedures within an organisation.
This course is based on the guidelines given in ISO 22361:2022 Security and resilience — Crisis management — Guidelines.
The course will also give you the skills to be able to satisfy the incident response elements of ISO 22301 Security and resilience – Business Continuity Management Systems – Requirements.
Introduction to Crisis Management course details
As with all our e-Learning courses, this course consists of a number of videos, each followed by a short quiz to enable the delegate to confirm their understanding.
It will probably take up to an hour to complete the course, and you will receive a certificate on successful completion.
